CheckerAI Terms of Use

Effective date: April 22, 2026

Beta release. The product is in closed testing. We update our legal documents as the service evolves — we will notify you by email of any material change at least 14 days in advance (§10).

§1. General provisions

  1. These Terms of Use govern the provision of services by the CheckerAI service, accessible at https://checkerai.ai (the "Service").
  2. The Service Provider is Mateusz Lisiewicz, contact: kontakt@checkerai.ai. A postal address will be added after business registration — until then please use email for formal correspondence. Identifying details are also available in the Privacy Policy.
  3. Contact the Service Provider at kontakt@checkerai.ai.

§2. Definitions

  • User — a natural person with full legal capacity who has created an Account on the Service.
  • Account — the User's set of resources and privileges on the Service tied to an email address.
  • Report — an AI-generated safety analysis of a selected YouTube channel, including risk score, age recommendation and risk category breakdown.
  • Credits — the Service's settlement unit; one Credit equals one analysis.

§3. Scope and nature of services

  1. The Service generates Reports on User request. Every new registration receives a starting pool of Credits (currently 10).
  2. Reports are produced by an automated AI system and are informational and supportive only. They do not constitute expert, psychological, legal or therapeutic advice. Decisions about a child's media consumption are always made by the parent or legal guardian.
  3. The Service Provider does not guarantee 100% correspondence between a Report and the current state of a channel — online content changes and the AI model can misclassify.

§4. Terms of use

  1. Only persons 18 years of age or older with full legal capacity may use the Service.
  2. Account registration requires a valid email address and a password meeting the security requirements (at least 10 characters, including one uppercase letter, one digit and one special character).
  3. The User agrees not to share the Account with third parties and to notify the Service Provider promptly if unauthorised access is suspected.
  4. The Service may not be used in a manner that breaches the law, good morals or the rights of third parties, including automated scraping or attempts to circumvent security measures.

§5. Credits and payment

  1. The free Account model includes a starting pool of Credits (currently 10) and limited access to additional features.
  2. In the future the Service may introduce paid Credit bundles. Prices and purchase terms will be described in these Terms before any such rollout.
  3. Consumers have the right to withdraw from a Credit purchase within 14 days of purchase, provided that performance has not begun (no Report has been generated from the purchased pool).

§6. Liability

  1. The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts for Reports to be accurate but is not liable for: (a) AI misclassification, (b) changes to channel content after a Report was generated, (c) parenting decisions made on the basis of a Report.
  2. The Service Provider's total aggregate liability to the User arising from the service agreement shall not exceed the User's payments to the Service over the preceding 12 months (or €0 if the User has used only the free tier).
  3. The Service Provider is not liable for Service unavailability caused by force majeure, outages at third-party providers (OpenAI, Google, Vercel), or scheduled maintenance.

§7. Complaints

  1. Complaints regarding the Service may be submitted to kontakt@checkerai.ai.
  2. A complaint should contain: the Account email, a description of the incident, and the expected remedy.
  3. The Service Provider reviews complaints within 14 business days of receipt.

§8. Intellectual property

  1. The Service's content (code, design, copy, logos) belongs to the Service Provider and is protected by copyright law.
  2. Reports generated via the Service may be used by the User for personal purposes. Copying, translating or distributing Reports commercially requires prior consent from the Service Provider.

§9. Termination

  1. The User may delete the Account at any time by writing to kontakt@checkerai.ai.
  2. The Service Provider may terminate the agreement for cause (material Terms breach, unlawful use) with 14 days' notice.

§10. Changes to these Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to change these Terms. The User will be notified by email at the address provided at registration at least 14 days in advance. If the User does not accept the amended Terms, the agreement is terminated at the User's request.

§11. Final provisions

  1. Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Act on the provision of electronic services.
  2. Disputes arising under the agreement are resolved by the court having jurisdiction under the Polish Code of Civil Procedure. Consumers may additionally use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms, in particular the European Commission ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
